Bald is Beautiful
He is not entirely symmetrical and he hasn’t grown much hair yet, but this baby really is empirically good-looking. Not just because I am his Momma and everyone thinks their own baby is beautiful. He really is.
We have been taking daily photos of him ever since we brought him home from the hospital, over 200 now, and we have hit a snag. He won’t hold still. The daily photos have date captions. We actually put printouts of the month and day in the crib with him. But now as soon as you set him down he flips right over, crawls fast to the edge, pulls himself up. Or quick snatches the date and eats it. Baby loves to eat paper.
We are considering moving to seated pictures, finding a way to tape the date to a background. Maybe that will work for a little while. Or maybe we will have to throttle back and just do the weekly (every Wednesday) or monthly (on the 30th) pics. We’ll see.
