The Bug
A lot of nicknames for the baby come and go: Crankypants Junior, Boogernose Snotlocker, Slobber McDroolsalot, Rocketpants, Sir Crawlsalot, Stinky Thunderbutt, Swamp Pants, Amber Junior, The Little Dictator, Stinkblossom, Sugarbutt, Milkface, Smiley McSupertoot, Banana Breath, Mr. Paddlefoot, Captain Adorable, The Genius, The Truffle Snuffler, Mr. Stinkypants, and Li’l Dude.
And then there are the nicknames based on his name: Lex, Lexi, Alex, A.J., Zander, Sandy, Sasha, and, of course, Supervillain Lex.
But his most enduring nickname is The Bug: Snuggle Bug, Turtle Bug, Farmer Bug, Stink Bug, Love Bug, Super Bug, Tooter Bug, or El Bugarino (if you’re not into the whole brevity thing).
He won’t always be a baby, but he’ll always be Momma’s Bug.
