My Son Is Not A Girl
At the doctor’s office they called him Alexandra this morning and seemed a little surprised when I corrected them. Getting his prescription filled at Target a whole family oohed and aahed over how pretty “she” is. Usually I say “little boy, but he looks just like me so I see why people think he’s a girl.” But I don’t really see at all. He’s such a manly little guy really. Good-looking like his pretty momma, sure. But clearly a boy.
