Blue Danube
Today I made sweet potatos into baby food and it was medium messy but I expected Lex would think they were a real treat. He thought they were so-so and mostly spit them out. He seems so ready for solids, but they are still getting a mixed reception so I will wait a few more weeks before making them a daily feature. Occasional solids seem fine when he is in the mood.
Crawling is still under investigation as well. The method seems to be to stick his butt up, straighten his legs and balance on his head. He mostly goes backwards this way or rolls on his side, often within reach of the object he was crawling towards (or something similiar enough that he no longer cares about the original item.)
He is a speed racer when holding on to fingers though. He takes big stompy steps around, and even goes from room to room walking with Daddy. He sometimes throws it into reverse during the cruising too, and toddles backwards or sideways a little. Looks like a waltz. Maybe it is. He is very advanced, after all.
