Joy to the World
There are twinkle lights on the tree and arranged in the non-working fireplace. Cards and ornaments are arrayed on the mantle and I found the last of the origami cranes for the tree. We have a variety of stockings hanging on the firescreen, and I know where our Santa hat is. We listened to the Christmas playlist all the way through as many times as we could stand it, and have moved on to a selection of world music. The baby is sleeping and eating. The combination of nursing and snoring is too adorable. Daddy is fixing dinner. We are out of eggnog, but happy. There’s a little more shopping to do, including picking out a present for our boy. We could just wrap up things he already has, but I want to get him something special from us, that we can tell him about later. Not sure what that is yet. I’ll know it when I see it. Tomorrow we will go to World of Mirth in Carytown and take a look.
