Day 124
My son is four months old today. We take daily pictures of him, plus weekly photos every Wednesday and monthly photos in the 30th. Not sure what we will do in February, but so far it has worked out. Sometimes I wish I had done the daily photos with “Day 6” etc. instead of (or in addition to) “Aug 4” but it is fine.
I love celebrating all his little milestones. In addition to first Halloween and first Thanksgiving (and Columbus Day and Veterans Day) in his first seventeen and a half weeks he has voted in a presidential election, celebrated his Daddy’s birthday and our 6th anniversary. He has traveled by car, taxi, bus, train, plane and catamaran. He has visited Florida and Indiana, and passed through North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Ohio. He’s had an ear infection, been on antibiotics and had two rounds of vaccinations. He has eaten smushed apples, strained bananas and mashed potatoes. He has been held by his 80-year old grandfather and his 3-year old cousin. He can roll over from his tummy to his back and he does some pre-crawl scootching. He stands up just holding on to my fingers for balance.
I am excessively proud of his tiny set of experiences. In 124 days he has done so much, more than some adults. I don’t want him to grow up too fast, but can’t wait to see what new surprises the next four months bring.
