Turkey Butt
Our son will be 4 months old in a couple of days. I was a week overdue and had gone to the hospital to take care of administrative stuff before my scheduled induction late in the week. My OB caught me walking in and took me for a quick ultrasound. Amniotic fluid was a little low so at 8 am Monday morning I called work to say I wouldn’t be in after all and called Zac to pack my bag and meet me at the Women’s Pavilion, we were about to have a baby.
And Wednesday afternoon, some 54 hours later, we had a beautiful healthy boy. The nurse who brought him between the nursery and my hospital room nicknamed him “Turkey Butt.”
I am so thankful for him. Every single day.
