Looking on the Bright Side
I just have bacterial tonsillitis and not strep or flu and the antibiotics really are starting to help.
England is the perfect vacation destination since I can only tolerate bland and mushy food.
Bug misses his Dadda but loves watching the daily videos he emails to us morning and night, and talking about how we will fly in an airplane soon.
I found out about the large unexpected fee for carrying Lex on my lap a day earlier, so no nasty shock at the airport.
Kind neighbor driving us to the airport means I don’t have to wrangle the bug plus luggage on and off the parking shuttle, even though that would have been good prep for the Tube when we arrive.
I found out about the hole in the bottom of my partially-packed bag in time to switch to a backpack, which is clearly better anyway.
Bug pooping on the bathroom floor while I got his bath ready is one step closer to potty training. He is so advanced!
The poop was solid. :-)
Urine is sterile so the additional big pool of pee helped clean the tile.
The cleaning lady called to permanently switch our day from Friday to Thursday, so the house will be nice for the cat sitter.
The cat did not actually die when I forgot to feed her the last couple of days. I suspect she has snacks stored away.
There are lots more great things that happened this week, but those are some of the highlights. We really do live in the best of all possible worlds.
